The Fonica VF-SC52THD is a full HD scaler auto switcher with 5 video, 1 audio & 1 MIC inputs, it scales & switches any video signal to HDMI and HDBaseT outputs. It supports PoC to power the included HDBaseT receiver up to 183ft (60m).
OVERVIEW
The Fonica VF-SC52THD is a mini hi-def. presentation scaler designed for conference room and classroom installations. It provides both manual and automatic switching of sources for easy to use connectivity. Iit can also be controlled by IR and RS-232 facilitating the integration with automated control systems.
The VF-SC52THD will scale and switch HDMI (hi-def video), C-video, YPbPr and VGA video signal to mirrored HDMI and HDBaseT™ output supporting Power over Ethernet (PoE) on the display side. When connected with HDMI over twisted pair PoE receiver, max transmission distance is 230 Feet (70 meters). The HDCP compliant scaler offers bi-directional wideband IR and RS-232 control with the receiver extender.
The scaler is housed in a compact 1U, half rack width enclosure that can be installed virtually anywhere, including discreet placement underneath a conference table, cabinet place, inside a credenza, or in a lectern.
HDBaseT output makes it easy to extend HDMI over cat6 embedded with audio, and bi-directional control signals to a receiver in a remote location, such as behind a flat-panel display on a wall or above a ceiling-mounted projector.
